Windows 7 logon screen keyboard issue

My logon screen defaulted to US English or UK English keyboards and I was not able to log in efficiently.

Fixed with the following steps:

Open Windows Control Panel:

control_panel_region

Click on “Copy settings”:

Then check the first checkbox, followed by “OK”:
